Overview
In this role, you will provide 3D CAD modeling and technical documentation in support of R&D engineers in new product development. You will use SolidWorks CAD software to create models for the entire product lifecycle including product design, prototyping, tooling fabrication, and engineering changes. Your main responsibilities include creating complete specification packages for commercial machinery, 3D CAD models, and 2D production prints. You will also submit Engineering Change Requests to update or create new specifications. Additional tasks involve working on projects related to cost estimating, maintaining relationships with key suppliers, providing component selection, prototyping, and testing. You will manage dish machine specifications through the Engineering Change process to see projects through to the point of being released to production.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Eagan, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Flexible schedule - start time 7-8, end time 3:30-5. OT is permitted. Onsite preferred with the ability to do a hybrid/remote schedule. This role will be almost entirely on a computer. Dress Code: Business Smart (jeans/dress shirt or polo) or business casual.
