nPosition Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Designer & Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong understanding of cabinetry construction, and the ability to provide accurate estimates. This role combines creativity and technical expertise to deliver tailored cabinetry solutions for residential and commercial projects.
nKey Responsibilities:
nCollaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
nDevelop custom cabinet designs using CAD software or other design tools.
nPrepare detailed and accurate project estimates, including material costs, labor, and timelines.
nCreate and present design concepts and 3D renderings to clients for approval.
nWork closely with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities.
nReview project specifications and make recommendations for design enhancements.
nCommunicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
nStay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in cabinetry design.
nQualifications:
nProven experience as a cabinet designer, interior designer, or related role.
nProficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, or equivalent).
nStrong knowledge of cabinetry construction techniques and materials.
nExcellent mathematical and estimation skills.
nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
nAttention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
nDegree or certification in interior design, architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
