CSI Sports is seeking an Advertising Sales Account Executive to maximize revenue through National sales and sponsorships. The applicant must be able to create, develop and execute sales strategies and proposals. The Account Executive will manage business from new and existing accounts and should be highly motivated, with a passion and interest for the media industry.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Create and implement sales strategies that resonate with the network’s current and potential clients.
- Manage spot and sponsorship opportunities nationwide.
- Provide ongoing servicing of existing accounts to ensure continuity and expansion of advertising revenue, while achieving monthly/quarterly/annual sales quotas
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports (weekly activity reports, weekly account updates, proposal reviews, monthly projections/forecasts, etc.) for management.
- Expand the spending levels of current accounts while locating non-traditional advertising budgets.
- Prepare creative and impactful client presentations.
- Collaborate with multiple departments in order to achieve network objectives and optimize revenue through strategic and creative means.
- Maintain awareness of competitive activity and industry trends
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of Media (TV, Cable, Digital, etc.;) Sales experience with track record of success selling spots and Live Event sponsorships.
- Understands Neilsen reporting and has a proven track record utilizing it in transactions.
- Established relationships with Media Agencies within the industry.
- Familiarity with client and agency account management process with the ability to navigate through their internal structures to effectively move the decision-making process.
- Strong analytical ability for strategic sales development, including interpretation of media research and analysis for effective use as a sales tool.
- Excellent organization and presentation skills, high levels of computer skills including Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word and Salesforce
- Self-motivated and thrives in an entrepreneurial high growth environment.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience working with Nielsen ratings/ research.
- An entrepreneurial mind set and aggressive attitude towards exceeding goals.
- BS or BA in related field of studies
