Associate Video Producer (L.A.)
PEOPLE is looking for a talented video producer who can film and edit engaging, dynamic videos with the Gen Z audience in mind. They must have a multimedia vision of how to present news to readers who are addicted to TikTok and Instagram, a perpetually busy audience that wants to be entertained and informed at the same time.
The right candidate will be steeped in the PEOPLE brand and how we tell compelling stories. We want someone who is curious and enthusiastic, who is obsessed with all things pop culture and can't wait to explain the latest trend or hot topic.
This person must have a strong background in video editing using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and AVID. They should have experience combing through raw footage to find the best sound bites and producing engaging, mobile-friendly edits quickly. Experience filming and/or scripting social videos is a plus.
If you're willing to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced working environment, you're the person for us. Experience at a national news brand is preferred. At least 2-3 years experience is required.

Assignment Details:
40 hours a week
Start date: 4/1/2025
End date: 6/30/2025 with potential to extend
Hourly Rate: $32-35

- 12am to 8pm ET (9am to 5 pm PT)
- Monday to Friday
