Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Multimedia Design Specialist, Graphic at UL Research Institutes, based in our Houston, Texas office.
The Multimedia Design Specialist is part of the marketing and communications team and will collaborate with researchers and subject matter experts to create, manage, and optimize multimedia content for various platforms. The Multimedia Specialist has expertise in multimedia production and is expected to contribute to complex projects to drive the reach, engagement, and application of our research-driven insights.
What you’ll learn and achieve:
Plan, create, and edit multimedia content, including videos, animations, images, presentations, on-demand webinars, social media content, and interactive media.
Contribute to the development of creative concepts and strategies for multimedia projects.
Independently execute multiple multimedia projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Ensure that multimedia content meets high-quality standards and aligns with the organization's brand guidelines.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, video producers, and content creators, to achieve project goals.
Implement multimedia content strategies, including optimizing content for various platforms and managing content schedules.
Support the team as needed in planning and executing multimedia content for in-person and virtual events.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The ability to work effectively with a remote team, while working on-site occasionally as needs require. The ability to travel to meetings and events as required.

Professional education and experience requirements for the role include:
A bachelor's degree in multimedia, digital media, graphic design, or a similar discipline.
Minimum 4 years of experience in multimedia production or a related role.
Experience in multimedia software and tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Salary Range: $61,199.38-$84,149.14
