About the Role
The Company is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Vice President of Communications for Advertising Sales. This critical position will define and enhance our internal and external communications strategy, ensuring our company is recognized as a leader in the rapidly evolving streaming, addressable, and data-driven advertising fields.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior leaders to craft corporate narratives, navigate reputational challenges, and manage an array of communication initiatives, including executive thought leadership and industry press relations. We seek a strategic visionary with extensive knowledge of the advertising sector, particularly in data-driven and addressable marketing, programmatic platforms, and performance-oriented advertising.
Qualified applicants should possess a minimum of 15 years of relevant communications experience, including at least 5 years in media, streaming, or advertising technology sectors. A history of success in corporate communications, public relations, and enhancing executive visibility is essential, along with strong leadership capabilities in managing high-performing teams.
Key responsibilities encompass:
- Leading the creation and rollout of impactful strategic communication plans
- Developing effective messaging strategies
- Building and nurturing robust relationships with industry press
This dynamic role requires top-notch writing and editorial skills, an aptitude for multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and a proactive mindset for crisis management. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, and familiarity with advertising sales or a B2B context is advantageous.
