nJob Description
nWe are seeking a motivated and dynamic Salesperson to join our Hauling Division. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building new client relationships, and promoting our hauling services across Long Beach and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
nThe ideal candidate is energetic, ambitious, and passionate about environmental sustainability. This role offers a base starting pay of $20-$30 per hour coupled with a high commission structure, providing you with the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings based on performance.
nPlease note: This position requires on-site work in Long Beach, CA. Remote work is not available for this role.
nKey Responsibilities
nIdentify and Develop New Business Opportunities
nProspect and generate leads within the waste disposal and hauling industry through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
nTarget commercial businesses, construction companies, and municipal organizations that require hauling services.
nMaintain and update a pipeline of potential clients within the assigned territory.
nPresent and Sell Hauling Services
nConduct engaging presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of our hauling solutions.
nTailor sales approaches to meet the specific needs and compliance requirements of clients.
nDemonstrate knowledge of industry regulations and environmental standards related to hauling and waste management.
nMaintain Customer Relationships
nBuild and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
nProvide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
nAddress client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
nAchieve Sales Targets
nMeet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals set by management.
nRegularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
nAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
nQualifications
nExperience
nPrevious sales experience in waste disposal, hauling, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
nFamiliarity with hauling services and environmental regulations is a plus.
nSkills
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
nBilingual in Spanish and English is required.
nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
nBasic arithmetic skills.
nAttributes
nHighly motivated and goal-oriented.
nExcellent organizational and time management abilities.
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
nValid driver's license and a clean driving record.
