Overview
RSU 29 seeks K-12 Music Teacher for the upcoming 2025-2026 School Year.
Qualifications: Valid Maine DOE teaching certification with proper endorsement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify, promote and develop each student's talents in vocal and instrumental musical expression.
- Develop and administer music education curriculum consistent with school department goals and objectives.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to provide customized, small and large group instruction for grade K-12 with a focus on general music lessons K-6.
- Maintain technological proficiency for purposes of instruction, reporting and communicating.
- Vary instructional techniques to address individual learning styles.
- Other job-related duties as assigned by the Building Principal.
Proper Maine DOE certification and background check required for all positions.
