Per Diem/Day Shift
The Therapist-Recreational Music coordinates and provides clinical programs and services to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities in the acute Sr. Psychiatric unit. Develops programs to promote and contribute to the rehabilitation effort and to provide the patient and family/caregivers with the skills and resources necessary for successful communication/leisure reintegration after discharge.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, or related field; from accredited college/university.
- Upon hire: Current certification with the American Music Therapy Association, or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation
- Upon hire: Board certified as a Music Therapist
- Upon hire: Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
