The Boston office of SmithGroup is looking for a Interior Design Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This position may be eligible for an extension into the fall semester. Working with us, you will: Work on integrated architecture and engineering project design teams. Use the latest 2D and 3D software to create architectural drawings, renderings, and design assignments. Document changes to interior drawings as instructed. Consult with manufacturers; research and evaluate materials. Participate in design meetings. Receive mentorship from experienced design professionals. Visit a construction site(s) and/or completed project sites. An ideal candidate has: Completed at least their sophomore year or have graduate standing in an accredited interior design program at the time of the internship. Basic knowledge of current FF&E (Furniture, Fixture & Equipment) products and applications. Some experience with Revit, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and the Microsoft Office Suite. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, at the time of posting. You are eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a work week.
