Responsibilities
- You will serve as the Agency's Visual and Digital Communications Manager to create, manage, and coordinate content to maintain and advance the Agency's mission and communications strategies.
- You will coordinate and collaborate with team members on the Agency's social media presence across a variety of platforms and assist with developing social media strategies.
- You will plan, design, develop and maintain the Agency's public, extranet and intranet websites ensuring positive user experiences and monitoring search engine and analytics performance.
- You will oversee and design professional and informative brand supportive graphics for social media, email marketing campaigns, website, intranet, portals, and other communication channels.
- You will provide assistance with developing and designing content for various communication channels and platforms that meet Agency goals and objectives.
- You will design and create the Agency's digital newsletter platforms and manages newsletter content calendar.
- You will oversee, design, and coordinate the print and distribution of signage, internal monitors, bulletin boards as well as other informational displays and communication materials (i.e., direct mail, stationery, letterhead, promotion materials).
- You will perform a variety of other visual and digital duties such as assisting with media production, eLearning and instructional videos, providing guidance for logo usage, developing templates and resources, and assisting with presentations, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and relevant experience.
- Knowledge of web page design and related software to include HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of layout and design of publications and forms using a PC and related software.
- Thorough knowledge of browsers to include but not limited to Internet Explorer, Chrome and FireFox.
- Understanding of HTML5 and how it is displayed by different browsers.
- Requires expert communication skills and ability to work with users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Position functions primarily in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.
- May require occasional work outside of normal office hours.
- May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
