Are you a sports-obsessed newshound who lives for breaking news and thrives in a fast-paced, content-driven environment? We’re looking for a Digital Content Coordinator to join our team and help us dominate the digital sports landscape across Georgia and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

·Cover and create digital content for the Braves, Georgia Tech, Georgia Football, College Football, the

NFL, Hawks, and the NBA.

·Collaborate daily with the Digital Media Director on content strategy and social media execution

·Post breaking news quickly and accurately across all platforms with exceptional editorial judgment

·Work closely with the sales team to ideate and execute digital campaigns tied to client goals. This is a

very important aspect of this position.

·Listen to our shows daily and identify standout moments and storylines to amplify across digital

platforms

·Create and amplify content that resonates with our local and regional audience

·Assist in the creation of on-brand, engaging graphics for social and digital (Photoshop/Canva or

similar tools)

·Edit and publish podcast episodes, clips, and related audio content

·Help plan and execute live video broadcasts, including on-location shoots

·Track performance using analytics tools like Twitter/X Analytics, and Google Analytics to inform

·Edit short-form vertical videos for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) using tools like

CapCut or Premiere Rush

·Stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-moving newsroom environment

·Practice smart SEO and tagging strategies to optimize visibility across platforms

What We’re Looking For:

·A true sports junkie with a passion for news and digital storytelling

·Strong instincts for what’s newsworthy and how to cover it fast, clean, and creatively

·Fluent in social media best practices across all major platforms

·Experience with podcast editing tools (Adobe Audition, Audacity, etc.)

· Graphic design skills are a huge plus

· Basic video editing skills for social are a big plus

·Comfortable analyzing data and making content decisions based on performance

·A team player who’s comfortable working with both editorial and sales departments

·Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and thrive under deadline pressure

·Sports media experience is a big plus

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Atlanta. Nights, weekends, and occasional travel are part of the job — because sports don’t stop, and neither do we.
