Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants for these fully funded PhD positions will possess:
– A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
– Strong foundational knowledge in signal processing, electromagnetics, and analog/digital circuit theory (at the undergraduate level).
– Proficiency in MATLAB and experience in at least one or two programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
– Additional valuable (but not mandatory) skills include familiarity with RF/mmWave instruments, software-defined radio, FPGA, microcontrollers, PCB design, and wireless communication systems (including modulations, OFDM, and channel models).
– Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work style are essential for success in this interdisciplinary and dynamic research environment.
