Pay Rate: $21.60/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Possible overtime hours may apply)
As the Manufacturing Expeditor, your main responsibilities include coordinating with production planners, procurement team, and warehouse staff to prioritize and expedite the flow of materials required for production. You'll monitor inventory levels and production schedules to identify potential bottlenecks or delays, and expedite urgent orders or critical materials to ensure production deadlines are met. Effective communication with suppliers is crucial to guarantee timely delivery of materials and prompt resolution of any issues that arise. Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, production schedules, and material movements is essential. You'll collaborate closely with production managers and supervisors to optimize workflow, minimize downtime, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team-building activities while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on material coordination or expediting preferred.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in computer skills, including ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in supply chain management or related fields are advantageous.
A minimum of one year of assembly and expediting experience is required; two years is preferred.
