Digital Media Planner & Buyer
to manage and implement digital media strategies and execution for high-profile clients. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, an understanding of multicultural audiences (with a preference for expertise in Asian American audiences), and hands-on experience across all digital media channels and leading digital platforms. This role will oversee the planning, buying, and executing of media campaigns tailored to client goals. Vertical experience in healthcare, pharma, automotive, casual dining, and CPG is a plus. Primary Responsibilities: Media Buying & Planning: Plan and execute media buys across display, video, social, OOH, audio, CTV, YouTube and programmatic platforms. Analyze campaign briefs to recommend the best media strategies tailored to target audience behavior. Utilize audience insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform media strategies and diverse media mixes that align with key objectives. Campaign Management: Oversee the execution and day-to-day campaign delivery, ensuring seamless execution and optimal performance against KPIs such as ROAS, CPM, and CTR. Conduct A/B testing to optimize creative, targeting, and bidding strategies. Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues and implement solutions swiftly. Deliver comprehensive post-campaign analysis to key stakeholders with recommendations on future strategies. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with account management, brand, and strategy teams to align media execution with client objectives. Produce detailed performance reports and insights for internal stakeholders and clients. Present findings and recommendations during client meetings and performance reviews. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with DSPs, DMPs, and CDPs as required. Familiarity with third-party ad servers like DoubleClick or Sizmek for tracking and reporting. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of how privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) impact media buying. Research & Innovation: Use tools like Nielsen, Comscore, and eMarketer for audience insights and market trends. Stay current with industry trends, emerging platforms, and changes in digital advertising technologies. Skills & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field. 5+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying across multiple disciplines with a focus on integrated digital campaigns. Experience targeting multicultural audiences, especially Asian American communities is a plus. Strong analytical skills, with a focus on optimizing campaigns to drive performance and expertise in Google Analytics, Nielsen, Excel, Tableau, or other visualization tools. Demonstrated success in managing budgets and optimizing media performance. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to clients and internal teams.
