DESCRIPTION: A promotion host is someone who works to market & run the casino promotions. Promotion host work in conjunction with advertising, and marketing helping to generate patrons for their promotion. They are to perform a multitude of tasks. Promotion host may also have to train and organize other staff about promotions. A promotion host needs to possess strong written and verbal communication skills. He/She should be highly organized and an accomplished problem solver, as he/she deals with everyone from upper management to clients on a regular basis. He/she also must be driven, professional, courteous, able to work well alone or with a team. They need to be organized, analytical, energetic, persuasive, and resilient. Always represents the casino in a positive manner. Filing, creating documents, taking notes, typing up letter and staying organized at all times. Title 24; Non-Safety Sensitive Position.

DUTIES:
- Make copies with correct color codes and sizing.
- Filing daily upkeep.
- Schedule and prioritize tasks assigned.
- Track inventory of customer service tracking sheets.
- Sets up and maintains office files and records.
REQUIREMENTS: Complies with policies and procedures at all times. Proven experience and knowledge of basic casino operations and promotions.
- Available night, weekends, holidays, and other times as deemed fit by the Director of Marketing.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
- Must have significant experience in a gaming environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create an inviting socialized experience for all guests in the area by encouraging the gaming public to participate in all casino related drawings and promotions.
- Talking on the microphone as the Emcee all casino or property wide events and promotions.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, giving directions, supporting marketing initiatives and solicit interest and sign-ups for casino events.
- Entertain customers during their play by creating a festive and upbeat environment. To engage customers through appropriate interaction and nurture extended time in play.
- Observe gaming activity and relay security concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Help to prepare for, set up and execute all casino events and promotions within the property.
- Using a computer, perform event management, record tournament and event data, come and complete and reconcile post event reports and audit packets.
- Create corresponding collateral for all casino events and promotions.
- Communicate accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, Hotel Services, directions to local attractions of function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc.
- Move throughout the casino floor at a speed sufficient to satisfy customer needs.
- Must always practice and maintain confidentiality.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Casino/Hotel experience is a plus. Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a track record of performing each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
EDUCATION:
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Must possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and employees at all levels of the company. Must possess a strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to create and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions through decisive judgment. Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Champion of Customer Service and building positive team spirit. Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate.

May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Must be 21 at time of hire.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs or more.
- Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
- Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
