Teacher Aide- Elementary Library SupportScarsdale Public Schools is seeking teacher aide candidates to responsibly and respectfully support the school library program at one of our elementary schools. Our elementary schools spans grades K-5 with an approximate enrollment of 450 students. We offer rich and varied educational programs, along with an active, supportive parent body.
Approximate Hours:
5 hours/day (Monday-Friday).

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Position Purpose
Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, to assist certified professional staff with students in the library to meet instructional goals and objectives, and to free certified professional employees from non-professional tasks in the library.

Use standard office equipment, such as personal computers and copiers.
Travel Requirements
Travel between schools, or between schools and central offices, may be required for certain positions.

Minimum Acceptable Training and Experience
A high school or equivalency diploma and demonstration of interest in working with children.
