Company Overview: The A List is a rapidly growing and innovative marketing and communication agency in the luxury, entertainment and fashion space, is seeking a Director of Marketing & Strategy to lead its influencer and celebrity marketing initiatives and drive strategic growth for brand clients. The company is focused on elevating its client's presence, optimizing budget allocation, and expanding their client's market reach through innovative strategies. Position Summary: The Director of Marketing & Strategy will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and brand strategy for their brand clients, ensuring alignment with each client's growth objectives. This individual will oversee project budgeting, positioning, and marketing initiatives while collaborating closely with key stakeholders. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring expertise in brand strategy, performance marketing, and business development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a long-term influencer and celebrity marketing and brand strategy to drive client growth. Oversee project budget allocation and financial planning to maximize ROI on marketing initiatives for each client project. Lead strategic planning and positioning efforts to enhance market competitiveness for each individual client. Must have experience with email marketing, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and sales funnels to enhance customer engagement and retention. Must have existing relationships and build partnerships with key industry players, talent, agencies, and strategic collaborators. Ensure marketing initiatives are data-driven, performance-based, and aligned with revenue goals. Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with the company's broader objectives. Lead a team of marketing professionals, ensuring best practices and continuous improvement. Ideal Candidate Profile: 8+ years of marketing and strategy experience in fashion, luxury branding, or consumer goods. Proven track record in brand positioning, growth marketing, and strategic planning. Expertise in budget management, financial forecasting, and performance analysis. Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, customer acquisition strategies, and funnel optimization. Experience leading a marketing team with a collaborative and results-driven approach. Background in high-end fashion, incubators, entertainment or growth-focused companies preferred. Must have experience at the Director or Senior Director level.
