Summary: The Director of Marketing is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets. Specific responsibilities include:

1. Business and market development
2. Market research and planning
3. Strategic direction for promotion and advertising
4. Coordination with sales
5. Hiring and directing the day-to-day activities of marketing staff

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experience required
• A minimum of 7 years of experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in marketing and planning
• Proven experience leading and managing teams, fostering collaboration, developing talent, and driving results

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the marketing leader of the company, providing support in marketing strategy and management
2. Develop the annual marketing plan and the necessary strategies, tactics, and resources to achieve goals
3. Create a budget for the Marketing department
4. Manage the production and creation of sales and marketing materials
5. Support the coordination and execution of Werner Ventures events and programs
6. Develop and execute strategies to enhance and expand the company’s eCommerce presence, driving online engagement, sales growth, and customer acquisition
7. Manage the production and creation of the Corporate website and intranet
8. Oversee and provide direction to market and competitor analysis
9. Coordinate customer appreciation events and trade show exhibits, promotions, and travel to participate in shows/events when necessary
10. Oversee high-level public relations initiatives, managing media relations, crafting press releases, and building the company’s brand reputation through strategic storytelling
11. Ensure all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and are an effective expenditure of resources
