About the role
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you'll assist with the creation of social media ads and other design projects. You will work closely with the Marketing team and other departments to produce visually engaging content that aligns with the brand's guidelines and vision. This position reports directly to the Brand and Content Marketing Manager.
This position is a full time hybrid at our headquarters' location in Santa Clara, CA.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in creating design assets for digital and print marketing initiatives
- Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop design concepts for social media campaigns and other projects.
- Ensure brand consistency is maintained across all visual assets.
- Edit and retouch photos for use in various design projects.
- Assist in designing and organizing content for presentations and other materials.
- Make revisions and updates to designs based on feedback from the marketing team or other departments to ensure the final product aligns with expectations.
- Stay current with design trends and incorporate fresh ideas into projects, ideally in the medical device industry.
- Collaborate closely with the content and social media teams to ensure design elements align with overall objectives.
- Work with internal teams to ensure all assets are aligned and delivered promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of graphic design experience.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Creative Portfolio: A strong, well-rounded portfolio showcasing design work across print, digital, and branding.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to receive and apply feedback effectively.
- Good work ethic and time management.
