Creative Director - Copywriter The CD Copywriter is responsible for conceptualizing and writing results-oriented advertising and marketing content across various mediums including digital, social, print, collateral, radio, broadcast, and experiential. This role requires persuasive presentation skills to sell concepts to internal teams, senior leaders, and clients. The individual must establish marketing strategies and create highly creative products based on brand strategy, working on multiple projects with deadlines and producing effective creative work. Responsibilities: Lead and inspire teams in developing and selling big ideas Ensure creative executions meet high standards of craftsmanship Position and sell creative concepts with persuasive rationale grounded in project objectives, strategies, and budgets Review and approve creative work internally and for clients Develop and maintain relationships with key clients Approve creative briefs prepared by the strategy team Oversee work assignments and coordinate with other departments and clients Guide and manage the ACD, AD, and CW teams Negotiate with Account Management to prioritize assignments and resolve scheduling conflicts Collaborate with the Creative Resource team to select and assign resources and contribute to new business proposals, including crafting compelling responses Participate in new business pitches, including preparing copy content for proposals Represent the agency professionally in interactions with clients, staff, vendors, and other contacts Assist in recruitment by reviewing portfolios and interviewing candidates Stay current with industry trends and apply them strategically Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in an agency At least two years' experience in a creative partnership with an Art Director Strong portfolio across multiple mediums and industries Ability to manage and inspire creative teams Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Collaborative skills with account and strategy teams Proficiency in deck building software like PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides Excellent communication skills Strong leadership and management capabilities Adaptability to changing briefs and priorities Proactive, self-motivated, and positive attitude At Ogilvy, our people are at the heart of our work: a creative agency that sparks game-changing ideas through collaboration, integrity, and self-expression.
