Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in driving client acquisition, forming strategic business partnerships, advising directors on key initiatives for business development, and implementing impactful marketing plans and strategies. This role will focus on crafting and executing strategies to enhance revenue growth, expand market reach, and optimize overall commercial performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the luxury market, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and innovative direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategies. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team and key stakeholders to scale the business effectively. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with overall commercial goals to drive growth in both D2C and B2B channels. Client Acquisition:
Spearhead efforts to attract and acquire new clients, focusing on high-net-worth individuals and luxury markets, both domestically and internationally. Strategic Partnerships:
Identify and cultivate strategic business partnerships to enhance brand positioning and expand market presence. Advisory Role:
Act as a strategic advisor to directors, championing initiatives that drive business development and advising on potential growth opportunities. Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue through innovative sales strategies, including digital marketing, e-commerce optimization, and customer engagement initiatives. Sales Strategy:
Build on the brand's success by defining the sales strategy, enhancing distinct client channels, and building team capabilities while supporting overarching objectives. Brand Representation:
Represent the brand in regional forums, influencing key partners to secure investment. Sales & Business Performance:
Maintain responsibility for planning, aligning, and executing sales activities to achieve revenue, profit, and volume growth targets. Market Expansion:
Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to grow the brand’s presence and drive international expansion. Brand Development:
Enhance brand positioning through strategic partnerships, collaborations, and high-impact marketing campaigns. Customer Experience:
Ensure exceptional and consistent customer experiences across all touchpoints, fostering loyalty and repeat business. Omnichannel Potential:
Develop and execute plans to expand the brand’s presence in brick-and-mortar retail, integrating online and offline experiences. Performance Metrics:
Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business development and commercial activities, making data-driven decisions. Team Leadership:
Build and lead a high-performing team focused on business development, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Account Executive:
Support the client management team to identify, recruit, and maintain a list of private clients to deliver best-in-class client experiences. Networking and Cultivating Business:
Build a network of high-performing beauty stylists and selling specialists. Develop and execute strategic action plans to increase client retention and spending. Marketing Programs:
Lead and manage campaigns from ideation to execution, thinking and acting innovatively to build brand awareness, drive consideration, and generate conversions. Sales Objectives:
Develop and execute global social media strategies to achieve brand, marketing, and sales objectives. Engagement:
Cultivate a robust network of engaged influencers who identify with brand values and can clearly express differentiation. Marketing Channels:
Manage all channels (paid social and display, email, web, OOH, partnerships, on-site), segmentation, creative content, and messaging with third-party vendors. Communications:
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of global communications from a marketing standpoint. Budget:
Work alongside the global marketing team to ensure budgets for each assigned campaign remain on track. Qualifications
Experience:
7-10+ years of management and marketing experience in the luxury fashion and/or fragrance industry, focusing on business development, strategic partnerships, and brand and marketing strategy. Leadership:
Proven ability to lead and scale business development teams in a high-growth environment. Strategic Vision:
Success in developing and executing business strategies that drive client acquisition and market expansion. Digital Proficiency:
Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and customer engagement strategies. Financial Acumen:
Solid understanding of financial concepts related to revenue management, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Omnichannel Experience:
Proven ability to implement omnichannel strategies integrating online and offline customer experiences. Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
