CADD TECHNICIAN
Summary
Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software and under direct supervision of other technicians of professional staff
Proficiency in use of computer-aided design software and ability to work well with others required.
Candidate should be able to display attention to detail and good organization skills.
Technician will work closely under the direction of professional engineers and staff.
Qualifications
Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience 1 -3 years of experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc) Candidate should be able to display attention to detail and good organization skills. Knowledge of Standard CADD, Microstation and MS Office Suite Software required. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred/Desired Qualifications
Previous experience with Inventor for Substation 3D preferred. Experience with MicroStation, Autocad and working with electric utility type drawings a plus
