THE POSITION
This is a 40-hour Monday through Friday, temporary summer position. Requirements include a current, full-time student status, at least 16 years of age, possess a valid California Driver's License, and have a satisfactory driving history. This position is a summer commitment starting in May/June 2025 and finishing in August/September 2025. The assignment provides an opportunity for students to gain graphic design work experience in a wastewater utility.
GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSISTANT
- This position will be assigned to the Communications Division. The ideal candidate will be a talented team player who is detail-oriented and can work both collaboratively and independently. As a part of the Communication Division team, you will get hands-on experience with print design, video production, digital visual design, and display production. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a candidate that has skills in digital design and production for websites and social media. The ideal candidate will also possess strong design fundamentals (color, form, type, layout) and have the ability to experiment. The candidate should have proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign (advanced), Photoshop, and Illustrator. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to assist in creating graphics for video. This position will also assist individual team members with other administrative duties as necessary.
