Description
PURPOSE:
Gentex Corporation is looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to provide essential support to a dynamic marketing team, including product marketing managers and marketing operations team members. This role will also play a key role in supporting marketing efforts across a global company, including both external and internal initiatives. By coordinating marketing activities, assisting in executing campaigns and events, managing content and project timelines, and streamlining communication, the Marketing Coordinator ensures operational efficiency and alignment within the team. This support enables team members to focus on strategic, creative, and operational initiatives, driving the overall success of marketing and internal communication efforts.
The role will report directly to the Director of Strategic Marketing with a dotted-line relationship to the Marketing Operations Manager, leveraging strong project management expertise to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely, high-quality execution across various product categories and customer segments.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Help maintain marketing budgets by processing invoices, handling department expenditures, and completing expense reports.
•Assist as needed with the coordination and distribution of internal corporate communications (newsletter, monitors, etc.)
•Support in trade show and event coordination, managing logistics, communicating with vendors, event reservations, preparing materials, etc.
•Create and deploy surveys to stakeholders for major marketing initiatives and trade shows.
•Vet and traffic marketing inquiries/leads to appropriate team members.
•Responsible for ordering and tracking product marketing samples for the department, as directed.
•Content creation support as needed for social media, newsletters, email banners, data sheets, brochures, email marketing, presentations, etc.
•Maintain and update marketing email lists for routine communications.
•Share and distribute marketing and sales collateral to internal and external stakeholders. Manage and reorder as needed.
•Manage and execute requests for marketing SWAG, collateral, and other materials with internal and external stakeholders.
•Manage distributor portals for product marketing team, ensuring relevant and latest materials are available, as well as setup of new users.
•Act as on-site marketing support and liaison between the local team and the broader marketing organization.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR PROFESSIONAL LICENSE(s):
•Associate's degree
EXPERIENCE:
•5 plus years in an administrative or marketing support role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
•Strong organizational and project management skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing tools.
•Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
•Proactively manage multiple fast-moving projects involving internal stakeholders and external partners. Effectively prioritize projects and focus.
•Excellent written and verbal communication.
•Work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals from across the company as well as independently.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS:
Position requires daily contact with employees, all departments, and management. Has contact with other Gentex locations on an as-needed basis.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL/COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; manual dexterity to handle, or feel objects, tools, keyboards or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear. The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The individual must have a high level of comprehension, and a high level of general, verbal, written, and numerical intelligence.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works majority of the day in a climate-controlled environment.

Generally, travel is not required

Gentex's Carbondale facility is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania in Lackawanna County. Carbondale, PA is about twenty miles north of Scranton, PA, 50 miles south of Binghamton, NY, and about 125 miles from New York City and Philadelphia. The area hosts numerous nearby state parks, nature preserves and local colleges and universities, including The University of Scranton and Marywood University.
