We are currently looking to connect with a highly organized and proactive Marketing Assistant to join the team of our client, a well-known lifestyle brand, in Irvine, CA. This hybrid role is integral to supporting daily marketing operations and ensuring smooth execution of a variety of initiatives.
As a Marketing Assistant, you will be a key player in ensuring the efficiency of various marketing projects, from organizing sales samples to supporting influencer programs and photoshoots. This opportunity will allow you to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting a dynamic team and contributing to exciting marketing campaigns.
Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Sales Product Sample Organization: Maintain, track, and distribute marketing and sales samples as needed.
- Supplies & Storage Management: Organize and manage marketing supplies and storage areas for easy access and inventory control.
- Promo, Influencer & Photoshoot Orders: Coordinate and place orders for promotional materials, influencer partnerships, and photoshoot needs.
- Expense Reports: Assist in compiling and submitting regular expense reports for the marketing team.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitive brands, and target audiences to support marketing strategies, prepare reports, and share findings.
- Project Support: Assist in the execution of marketing initiatives such as photoshoots, events, retail activations, campaign launches, and meetings.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, calendaring, data entry, and other ad hoc tasks.
Marketing Assistant Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, administrative support, or a related field (internship experience considered).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, high-energy, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite.
- Experience with expense reporting tools (e.g., Concur) is a plus.
- A proactive and resourceful mindset, solution-oriented with a strong willingness to learn.
