Job Responsibilities:
The Manager of Product Development Digital and Publishing will lead innovative solutions that meet customer needs and align with the strategic goals. The incumbent will oversee the lifecycle of products across digital platforms and publishing formats, work closely with cross-functional teams to define strategies, execute plans, and deliver products that enhance user experiences while meeting market demands.
Must Have:
- 5 years of experience (or 9 in lieu of degree) managing products in digital, physical, and/or publishing domains
- Demonstrated success in serving on cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality products
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and manufacturing processes for physical products
- Working knowledge of AI tools, risks, possibilities, etc.
- Proficiency in M365 (MS Office)
- Travel twice per year (1-3 nights per trip)
- Position may require more than the standard number of hours of work within a workweek
Nice to Have:
- Experience in editorial workflows, publishing experience and distribution channels
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, and project management tools
