Freelance Proofreader/Copy Editor needed for Tennessee State Parks and The Tennessee Conservationist magazine. Every two months, proofread and copy edit the 44-page magazine in InDesign for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and AP style. Proofread various marketing materials on an as-needed basis. These will include brochures, flyers, menus, trail maps, and other promotional/informational materials. Fluent in Spanish are particularly encouraged to apply!
Minimum Qualifications
- AP Style: Expert (10+ Years)
- InDesign: Proficient (4-6 Years)
- Proofreading: Proficient (4-6 Years)
- Adobe Acrobat: Proficient (4-6 Years)
- Communication Skills (Verbal and Written): Advanced (7-9 Years)
- Team Work: Proficient (4-6 Years)
- Microsoft Office: Professional Proficient (4-6 Years)
