Position Summary
A Fulfillment Lead is responsible for setting up production lines for team members to accurately pack Fulfillment orders and ensure performance standards and accurate data collection is maintained.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Follows all standard operating procedures relevant to the job position, department, company, and safety guidelines.
- Must be able to lead, organize and manage several lines with 5 or more employees.
- Read and understand all written and verbal instructions pertaining to the job ticket.
- Stage and setup lines with little or no supervision.
- Arrange staff on each line to be able to perform their duties efficiently.
- Perform routine quality checks.
- Monitor, evaluate, and adjust work patterns to achieve established throughput requirements.
- Keep accurate data collection for all team members by entering team members in and out of the data collection system (Monarch) that tracks time and quantity for each team member by job.
- Train all team members how to perform their job duties the most efficient way.
- Count all overs and complete the holding load tag at the end of each job.
- Utilize Automated Equipment whenever possible.
- Always maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety policies and regulations, report any potential hazards, near misses or accidents immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Skills, Experience & Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience as a production line lead.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a crew/team.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
