Summary:
Responsible for developing a robust and fully integrated, cross-functional marketing communications strategy. This strategy will accurately position and deliver brand/business strategies to target external and internal stakeholders, while collaborating with Product and Marketing Managers to execute the marketing plans.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop robust and fully integrated, cross-functional marketing communications strategy that accurately positions, interprets and delivers brand/business strategies to target audiences and internal stakeholders in cooperation with leadership.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing Managers to identify and prioritize key strategies and elements in executing the marketing plan.
- Lead integration of 1:1 customer marketing and customer segmentation strategies into communications / brand plans to maximize opportunities for acquisition, retention, cross-sell and up-sell to customers.
- Direct all mediums of communications - broadcast, print, PR, marketing collateral, electronic communications (including websites, videos, social media, etc.), with integrated approaches across channels, products and programs assuring alignment with marketing, sales and MCA.
- Manage external and internal marketing communications. Manage external media relations in conjunction with MCA
- Maximize strategic value of advertising investment (~$2M+ budget).
- Manage the use of external resources/vendors as they pertain to the marketing and communications function (e.g. advertising agency, etc.). Manage vendor contractual agreements in conjunction with Procurement.
- Direct marketing communications research activities to keep abreast of changing demographics and other issues to formulate customer-relevant strategies and to evaluate impact of marketing and communication activities.
- All other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or general business.
- 5+ years of experience with thorough understanding of marketing, communications, research, metrics, planning and implementing processes.
- Ability to independently translate analytical findings into practical implementation plans.
- Understanding of the T&O markets and consumer channels.
- Travel up to 15% of time.
