Madison Academy (MA) is seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher to lead a vibrant music program as part of an exceptional team of educators. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and teach students from PK-12th grade in a nurturing and creative environment.
Madison Academy is dedicated to fostering an academic climate in an Adventist culture where students engage, families belong, everybody grows, and Jesus reigns. The school is blessed with supportive parents and a large active Church community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide the energy, passion, and skill in various musical disciplines to teach music to students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade as well as music electives in high school.
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment where students can develop musical skills, creativity, teamwork, and discipline.
- Lead student performances, concerts, and musical events.
- Provide regular feedback and assessments on student progress, maintaining open communication with parents/guardians.
- Integrate Christian values into all aspects of music instruction and help students develop their musical talents as an expression of their faith.
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff to integrate music across the curriculum and school activities.
Required Experience
The candidate must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist who holds current NAD Certification. A Master's Degree, 3+ years of experience, with a Music endorsement preferred. Individuals must have the legal right to work in the United States and provide evidence of that right if employed.
