Plan, create, and schedule content for platforms including Meta (Instagram, Facebook), LinkedIn, and Reddit.
Ensure all content adheres to compliance guidelines specific to the cannabis industry.
Community Engagement Build and nurture online communities by engaging with followers through comments, direct messages, and mentions.
Monitor platform activity, respond to inquiries, and foster meaningful interactions that reflect the Glass Meadows brand voice.
Support pop-ups, events, and farm visits by capturing content and engaging with audiences on-site.
Data Driven Strategies Track and analyze social media metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize content performance.
Assist in implementing consumer research and social listening tools to gather audience insights and refine strategies.
Monitor competitors’ social media activity to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices for the cannabis industry.
Prepare regular performance reports for internal review.
Brand Collaboration Work closely with the Marketing Manager and design team to develop visually appealing assets that align with brand guidelines.
Collaborate with retail and event partners to enhance marketing efforts and engagement strategies.
Coordinate with the sales team to align social media efforts with sales goals and ensure cohesive messaging.
Support the promotion of all four flagship brands—Pre-Roll King of Jersey, Rosin King of Jersey, Jersey Sauce Boss, and Jersey Jellies—while primarily focusing on Glass Meadows.
Event & Location Support Attend onsite visits in Newton, NJ, as well as events, pop-ups, and visits to retail partners across New Jersey.
Capture and curate onsite content for use across social platforms.
Represent the brand professionally at events, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Collaborate with retail partners to enhance in-store and event engagement efforts.
Organizational Skills Maintain organized records of campaigns, content performance, and community interactions.
Manage an asset library for social media, including photos, videos, and templates.
Organize and update audience segments, content calendars, and important dates for campaigns and events.
Ensure consistent implementation of brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications 1-2 years in social media management, ideally with tools like Sprout Social or similar platforms.
High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus.
Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred (but not required): Experience in content creation and basic design. Familiarity with the cannabis industry or a genuine enthusiasm to learn about its unique challenges and compliance requirements.
Expectations Ability to manage multiple social media accounts and tasks simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in navigating social media platforms and scheduling tools like Sprout Social or similar.
Comfortable working in both office and remote settings, with the ability to attend farm trips, events, pop-ups, and occasional weekend activities as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine passion for building community and engaging with diverse audiences.
