Position Summary: Department: Orlando Health Medical Group - Radiologist Administration Status: Full-Time | 40 hours per week Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Title: Director, Advanced Visualization Center Location: Orlando, Florida 32806 Plans, develops, organizes, and manages the services of the Advanced Visualization Center, ensuring continual, timely, and accurate services to patients within financial and budgetary guidelines. About Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG):
A comprehensive physician group serving patients across southeastern US with over 200 practices, 1,200 physicians, and specialties including cardiology, oncology, neurology, and more. Part of Orlando Health, which includes 24 hospitals, ERs, specialty institutes, urgent care centers, outpatient facilities, and primary care practices. Responsibilities: Adhere to mission statement, standards, and Orlando Health Way. Manage staff of 20+ FTEs across multiple departments and locations, maintaining corrective action plans for budget variances. Work with corporate team to meet regulatory standards (JCH, Florida Department of Health, NRC), and ensure system-wide consistency. Manage multiple complex projects involving advanced imaging, 3D printing, AI, and related technologies. Collaborate with physicians, IT, and vendors to assess, procure, and implement new imaging and AI technologies. Develop new diagnostic services supporting technological advancements. Communicate regularly with Medical Director, physicians, and administration for operational efficiency. Oversee workflows, budget, documentation, and staff development. Attend corporate imaging meetings and conferences, provide reports, and support departmental functions. Ensure safety, compliance, and effective use of systems. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging, Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. Knowledge in DICOM segmentation and managing STL files for 3D printing. Preferred: CT/MRI technologist experience or 3D printing experience. Licensure/Certification: Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license. Preferred: ARRT certification, ARMR, or CT certification. Experience: Minimum 3 years in management or supervisory role in clinical, 3D printing, or AI setting.
