Role Description
Looking for a packaging design person with entry level experience.
Reporting to senior packaging designer in N.Y. and L.A.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Packaging Designer at LA Gem and Jewelry Design Inc. (LA Rocks) located in Los Angeles, CA. The Packaging Designer will be responsible for designing and creating packaging solutions for jewelry products, incorporating branding elements, graphic design, product design, and typography into their work.
Packaging Design, Print Production, Art Direction, Project Management, Graphic Design, Adobe Design Suite, Microsoft Office, Basic HTML. are very helpful
Responsibilities include:
Create presentation materials for mock-ups of packaging concepts for management and buyer review.
you will need to Communicate with domestic and international account specialists and vendors to order sample which will transfer to production overseas. You will need to ensure quality management and consistency in final packaging production.
Qualifications
- Packaging Design and Product Design skills
- Experience in Branding and Graphic Design
- Typography skills
- Attention to detail and creativity in design
- Strong portfolio showcasing packaging design projects
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of jewelry design industry is a plus
- Illustrator, Photoshop, a must
