Position Summary:
Under supervision, prepares work orders, maintains repair records, and handles warranty claims including submitting and reconciling claims with manufacturers or distributors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process warranty claims and verify validity.
- Complete paperwork, resubmit rejected claims, and manage warranty credits.
- Assist with body shop warranty claims as needed.
- Manage write-offs, follow up on payments, and open/close repair orders.
- Track warranty parts, arrange shipments, and maintain service records.
- Stay current on factory recalls and bulletins.
- Coordinate fleet maintenance, dispatch road calls, and communicate with customers.
- Manage technician timecards, produce reports, and assist in customer authorizations.
- Perform receptionist duties and cover for the manager as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of vehicle warranty programs, OEM bulletins, recalls, and fleet maintenance.
- Proficient with word processing and spreadsheets.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least five years of repair shop experience, with two in a supervisory or warranty role.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver License; CDL is a plus.
