A mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to improving teacher effectiveness and student achievement is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support and enhance internal and external communications. This role will contribute to strategic messaging, content development, brand awareness, and marketing campaigns. Communications Coordinator Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic communication plans to enhance visibility Support internal communications through newsletters, blogs, and staff updates Assist in public-facing marketing campaigns to amplify their mission and impact Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print materials Oversee content creation, editing, and storytelling to engage diverse audiences Manage social media content and engagement strategies Analyze campaign performance and optimize digital engagement Support the development of key messaging for leadership and media Collaborate with policy and digital teams to align communication efforts Communications Coordinator Requirements:
7+ years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or media Exceptional writing and editing skills strong attention to detail Experience in nonprofit or education-related organizations preferred Proficiency with MS Office, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud Familiarity with social media strategy, digital content creation, and analytics tools Ability to translate complex information into compelling narratives Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects Bachelor s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field Master's degree is a plus!
