JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:
The University Libraries seeks a dependable Part-Time News Operations Assistant to work mornings at the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Global News Center on the University Park campus.
Key responsibilities include:
- Physically processing incoming print newspapers, including sorting, stapling, and recording receipt.
- Creating daily newspaper front page displays.
- Maintaining newspapers on shelves and handling special news-related projects.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
The candidate should be available to work 1.5 hours between 8 a.m. and noon on 2-3 weekdays, plus an additional 1.5 hours on either Saturday or Sunday, totaling 4.5 to 8 hours weekly.
This position is located in the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Global News Center at the Paterno Library, University Park campus.
