here .Job Description:The Department of Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition seeks qualified applicants for semester-length appointments as part-time faculty in its award-winning Writing Program.
All courses are held in person on our Bristol campus.
Possible courses include:WTNG 100: Introduction to Academic WritingWTNG 102: How Writing WorksWTNG 225: Writing in Professional and Public ContextsSuccessful applicants will advance writing program outcomes, contribute to assessment, and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to excellence in teaching.Compensation is on a per-course basis. Adjunct faculty may teach a maximum of three sections per semester.Requirements:Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in Rhetoric and Composition, English, or related field by the time of appointment. Recent college-level teaching experience is highly preferred.At the University's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.Additional Information:Roger Williams University is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and committed to a diverse workforce.
