What we are looking for:
We are seeking an Accountant to provide support services to staff and internal clients. The primary purpose of this position is to assist First Atlantic Federal Credit Union to live out our Mission to provide best value financial services to members by providing outstanding service to both members and internal members. In addition, applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.
The Marketing Coordinator assists the Marketing Manager with all marketing tasks associated with handling the marketing aspects of the Credit Union.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Marketing Manager with the development and implementation of the Marketing Plan.
Research activities on digital marketing trends and social platforms and provide subsequent recommendations.
Update and maintain all credit union's social media channels and adhere to brand standards. Support and translate creative ideas and concepts into the digital environment.
Handle the coordination of all credit union and business development events. Responsible for selecting/ordering promotional items and timely taking and posting pictures of events on all social media platforms.
Reviewing and ensuring all marketing collateral displayed at the Branches/Headquarters are current and accurate. Consistent messaging and branding.
Reviewing and summarizing varied proposals for work requests and making a recommendation to the Marketing Manager/Team.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and timely follow-through regarding meeting deadlines and providing actionable feedback (related to approvals, consensus, direction) to the Marketing Team.
Travel to other branch locations, businesses and community events is required.
Lead the Youth Advisory Board.
Other projects, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Must have experience with digital and social media platforms such as Hootsuite, Survey Monkey, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. and website CMS.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing or digital marketing preferred
1 - 3 years of experience in marketing or product promotions, or
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL ALSO HAVE:
Strong quantitative skills and are comfortable in a data driven environment.
Ability to use creative thinking in a fast paced, results-driven environment.
Financial Acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Project Management experience ability to manage a large number of simultaneous initiatives and keep deliverables on schedule.
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write press releases and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
