Summary of Job Duties:
The Row-Johns Library at UACCB is looking for someone to work 25 hours a week as a part-time Library Assistant. This position is primarily focused on customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to greet the public in a friendly and helpful manner and assist patrons with using the Library facilities and resources. Other duties include checking in and out Library materials, shelving materials, answering phones, cleaning and straightening workspaces, and keeping track of some statistics of Library use. The person in this position will also need to help with any Library projects and promotions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Organized
- Accurate
- Friendly and helpful
- Familiarity with Microsoft products a plus
- Know or be willing to learn the Library of Congress Classification system
Salary Information: $11.00/hr
