Remote candidates will be considered.Primary Responsibilities.Develop and implement communications and marketing strategies aligned to BA growth objectives that strengthen Leidos' position in key markets.Plan, execute, and manage internal and external-facing campaigns in support of growth initiatives.Develop and oversee the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that include digital advertising, SEO/SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.Collaborate with senior executives on an executive communications plan and supporting material, including employee messages, talking points, presentations, speeches, etc.Ensure key capabilities are marketed effectively to deliver awareness and growth.Ensure the correct positioning in our key market-facing materials including website, press releases, white papers, sales materials, trade shows, and social media.Foster strong collaborative relationships across different departments such as Growth, Branding, Creative, Digital, Enterprise, and External Communications to ensure consistent messaging and leverage insights from these areas for better communication strategies.Work collaboratively with the marketing team to align communication strategies with broader marketing objectives, ensuring a unified approach to market penetration and brand consistency.Responsible for achieving specific marketing targets related to customer acquisition, engagement, and retention as well as tracking marketing campaign ROI and adjusting strategies accordingly.Identify and develop core capability positioning and messaging that uniquely differentiates Leidos services, clearly communicates customer benefits, and highlights our competitive advantage.Draft press releases, campaign materials, social media posts, and other deliverables and work with appropriate functional teams to finalize and post to the correct channel.Support key trade shows by developing messaging and marketing content and collateral, drafting social media posts, writing pre- and post-show emails, among other duties. Must be willing and able to travel to trade show events to provide on-site support as needed.Support Sector Communications Director and appropriate organization leaders on company and sector-wide initiatives.Engage with Growth and Strategy teams to better understand customer needs, competitive offerings and positions, market trends, and competitive strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.Prepare and implement communication strategies for potential crises or negative publicity, ensuring quick and effective responses to protect and uphold the company's reputation.Engage the growing workforce through consistent and compelling internal communications initiatives.Manage select intranet pages to include content development and posting, executive blogs, internal stories and pictures to drive employee engagement, as required.Act as a brand champion for Leidos, ensuring our brand standards are maintained across all internal and external touchpoints.Basic Qualifications.Candidates must demonstrate significant experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, with a strong understanding of digital marketing tools, market segmentation, and analytics to drive campaign effectiveness and ROI. Experience in B2B marketing, especially in the tech or government sectors, is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or Management) and 12+ years of prior relevant work experience tied to communications and marketing or related field or a master's degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.Demonstrated expertise in working with and advising senior leaders.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.Superior English writing, editing, public speaking, and presentation skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills, maturity, and tact with proven ability to work across different audiences, personalities, and experience levels.Ability to work and produce deliverables independently and as part of multiple teams.Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies.Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing.Exceptional organization skills and ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests while working effectively in a team environment.Ability to curate and synthesize information into engaging and actionable deliverables.Ability to coordinate efforts of various teams to present coherent messages and execute on communications deliverables.Ability to thrive in a highly flexible, rapidly changing, collaborative work environment.Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness with a hands-on approach to problem solving.Fluent with Microsoft Office tools/programs, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications.Master's degree beneficial (not required).Experience working with government contracting, information technology providers, defense or aerospace companies.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including content management systems, email marketing software, and data analytics tools.Prior internal communications and employee engagement experience.Knowledge of corporate communications best practices.Proficiency in AP-Style grammar.Experience working for or with government contractors and/or technology solutions providers.Familiarity with web conferencing tools and platforms.Experience using collaborative software and workflow management tools.Original Posting Date:

Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
