Thundermist Health Center is a nonprofit community health center serving Woonsocket, West Warwick, and South County in Rhode Island. Additional services include pharmacy, social services case management, care for gender-diverse individuals, prenatal and postnatal care, school-based health services, and substance use disorder treatment. This is a full-time role for a Grant Writer located on-site in Warwick, RI. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching and identifying funding opportunities, writing and submitting grant proposals, and managing grant-related documentation. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining relationships with funding organizations, collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information for proposals, and ensuring compliance with all grant requirements.

• Experience in Grant Writing, Proposal Writing, and Research
• Strong Project Management and Organizational skills
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management software
• Previous experience in the healthcare or nonprofit sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and meet tight deadlines
