Job Description:
The Digital Performance Marketing Lead (DTC) will lead a wide range of strategic and tactical conversion Marketing initiatives using paid digital media to drive sales and overall growth of capsules, new customers and machines on Nespresso.com, and even while consistently increasing efficiencies and ROI for Nespresso USA.
This is a hybrid-based opportunity that will work onsite at Nespresso USA’s Office in New York City, New York (Manhattan) 2 days/week and the rest remotely Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
Nespresso.com
• Own the 'lower funnel' new customer acquisition and sales strategy together with associated tactical plans, from target setting to tracking and measurement.
• Lead audience segmentation strategies, for prospecting and remarketing in collaboration with both the Brand Media Manager and the Data, Insights & Analytics team.
• Own the channel optimization strategy and define targets and manage the yearly financial planning.
• Drive the transition from cost per acquisition to revenue maximization to lifetime value as well.
• Oversee delivery of online campaigns across Programmatic Display, Paid Social and Paid Search.
• Identify and test new acquisition channels including new emerging platforms.
• In collaboration with the Marketing Communication team, as well as oversee the development and deployment of consumer-relevant creative that delivers strong click through and conversion.
• Collaborate with the e-Commerce Manager, Trade Marketing Director and Integrated Marketing Manager to develop and deploy promotional and communication calendar to drive acquisition and retention.
• Develop the A/B testing roadmap.
• Lead the development and rollout of a digital performance media attribution model (DDA) using GA 360, in order to drive channel synergies and optimization of performance media spends.
• Be the inhouse expert in digital paid media, sharing out learnings and best practices with broader teams.
• Stay up to date with new tools and industry best practices keeping Nespresso USA at the forefront of new opportunities.
SEO and Social Commerce
• Manage improvement of the website's online visibility and search engine ranking, collaborate with Digital Commerce team and the agency to develop and implement a robust SEO-SEM integrated approach to maximize conversion and profitability.
• Lead and executing Nespresso's Social Commerce strategy across social media platforms, creating engaging shoppable content in collaboration with both the Marketing and Product teams, leveraging different levers and fostering customer interactions to drive online purchases directly through social channels.
Budgeting & Planning
• Complete recaps and reports, providing assessment, identifying opportunities and initiating recommendations/solutions for both existing and developmental programs.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Performance Media or Direct Response Marketing required.
• Expertise in Programmatic Display, Paid Social and Paid Search required.
• Must have an in-depth understanding of performance media and attribution models such as the data-driven attribution models such as Google Analytics.
• Understanding of website conversion metrics including impressions, click-through rates and conversion rates required.
• Experience using media tracking and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, DoubleClic+B16k Campaign Manager, Brightedge, Criteo, Criteo, TRIAD and Amazon Advertising required.
• Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, organizational and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).
• Must be a creative and strategic thinker, detail-oriented and must be analytical.
• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to compile, analyze and leverage performance data to deliver stronger ROI and identify new opportunities.
• Must have an understanding of how customers engage with direct response media and the role of the levers such as incentives and promotions in driving conversion.
• Familiarity with data tools such as Tableau, BO and/or Power BI is desired.
• Experience utilizing tools such as Krux DMP, Facebook Business Manager, DV360 and/or Amazon DSP is highly preferred.
• Experience implementing DCO is desired.
• Willing and able to travel up to 10% based on the needs of the team and the business.
The approximate pay range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
