JOB SUMMARY: M & A Matting is seeking someone to bridge the gap between administration and manufacturing within the Graphics Department. The candidate must have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and a desire to continually learn new things. The position will include a training program to teach a full and complete understanding of large-format printer software and hardware, order and design applications, and art and color manipulation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

1. Perform administrative and manufacturing tasks to ensure the customer is served in the best manner possible.
2. Organize, operate, and maintain printers.
3. Track and report inventory to Supervisor.
4. Identify and make corrections to art.
5. Match Pantone colors visually using 4-color process.
6. Check orders for accuracy.
7. Pull open order reports and keep knowledge of large open orders and rough status.
8. Respond to internal emails regarding quality, priorities, order status, and ship dates in a reasonable time.
9. Must be able to lift 50 lb rolls of material.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates will, above all, possess a strong sense of urgency to produce quality products at a rapid pace. Candidates must excel in time management and multitasking, as well as have a degree of technical aptitude. We are seeking a team player with strong computer skills (Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel are a definite plus). A desire to learn and work independently and in a team environment is a must.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 1st shift hours (Monday – Friday 7 am to 3 pm) however, weekends and overtime may be required.

SALARY RANGE: Based on experience.
