As the Senior Manager, Publishing, you will: Participate in issue planning, write stories, and proof content for Pharmacy Today. Review APhA content for accuracy. Participate in development of new technology for content delivery. Serve as a representative of APhA member needs in all areas of publishing. LOCATION: Washington, DC – Hybrid, two days a week in the office (Tuesday & Thursday) WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR Experience and Education required: Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy. Post-graduate training is preferred. 5+ years of relevant experience or 1+ year of a Residency/Fellowship and 2+ years of relevant experience in an association or nonprofit. Skills, knowledge and abilities required: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards. Proven experience in pharmacology and content creation for pharmacists. Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a timely fashion, adhere to deadlines, and plan projects effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with data analytics and performance tracking tools. Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Ability to travel to annual meetings. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and InCopy. Proficiency in AI-powered publishing tools and digital content management systems preferred.
