Piper Companies is seeking a dynamic UI Development Team Lead to join a leading and rapidly expanding provider of benefits administration, technology, brokerage, consulting, payroll solutions, and business strategies for companies of all sizes. This role is fully onsite located in Sparks, MD.
Requirements of the UI Development Team Lead:
- Create complex, dynamic web pages for high-volume, multi-tier applications.
- Lead the design and development of dynamic UI templates/pages and elements for various enterprise web applications.
- Work with managers to understand business goals, provide technical assessments, UI recommendations, risk analysis, and accurate development estimates.
- Oversee requirements gathering, definition, and design for new/modified applications.
- Evaluate technical feasibility with Proof of Concepts to reduce project risks.
Qualifications of the UI Development Team Lead:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design and UI development for enterprise web applications.
- Expertise in UI design patterns, visual design, and web technologies.
- Proficiency in HTML, XHTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
- Skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience with single-page web application development.
- Preferred experience with Visual Studio 2012, Bootstrap, AngularJS, ASP.NET MVC (C# and VB.NET), and Developer Express Control Suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years' experience.
Compensation of the UI Development Team Lead:
- Salary range: $113,000-$143,000 *based on experience*
- Comprehensive benefit package: Medical, Dental, and Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, paid holidays.
