Occupational Therapist Opportunity Near Newport News, VA
Soliant Health is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with a school district near Newport News, VA. This is a full-time contract position, offering 40 hours per week. The contract is set to begin on April 14th and runs through the end of the school year, with the possibility of starting sooner.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students based on their individual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure students' therapy goals are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- municate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding therapy outes.
- Participate in any additional school-related meetings or responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Virginia.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Availability to start by April 14th, or sooner if possible.
