Job Description
SCOPE OF POSITIONThe Registered Polysomnographic Tech performs specializedNeurodiagnostic/Pulmonary procedures such as, but not limited to,Polysomnograms, MSLTs and titration of either CPAP or BiPAP whichare utilized in providing diagnostic information regarding thepatient's neurological and/or pulmonary function during sleep. TheTech will be able to perform evaluation and treatment to patients ofall ages, neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSee Table of Organization.EDUCATION EXPERIENCEPreferred graduate of an accredited Polysomnographer program.Valid and active Registered Polysomnography Technologist licensure in appropriate stateAHA BLS requiredRegistered sleeptechnologist through BRPT (Board of Registered Polysom Technologists) or through the ABSM (American Board of Sleep Medicine)
