Masis Professional Group is recruiting for a RPSGT, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist on behalf of our client located in New York, NY. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
We are seeking an experienced NY-licensed RPSGT (Technologist) or RT/CRT, candidate to work in a busy Pediatric Sleep Center, 3-4 nights per week, from 8pm-6am.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Responsibilities:
Facilitating tests and collecting data.
Responsible for preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results.
Responsible for following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, Calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks.
Analysis (scoring) of clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulation of final data to be submitted for further review.
Required compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Job Requirements:
High school diploma required
Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required
NY PSG and/or CRT/RT license(s) also preferred
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist "RPSGT" in the State of NY preferred, but NY PSG and/or Respiratory Therapist license(s) required
Current BCLS certification
Proof of immunizations required
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Pay Range:
$42 and up Depending on experience (no gaps in working as an RPSGT for more than two months).
