Key Responsibilities:
- Design packaging solutions for corrugated boxes and other materials
- Collaborate with Sales to understand client needs and provide customized solutions.
- Develop designs based on appearance, functionality, serviceability, materials, production methods, and client/retail specifications.
- Use ArtiosCAD and other software to create detailed designs and prototypes.
- Prepare working drawings from sketches and design specifications.
- Inspect and construct packaging samples to ensure the final product meets requirements.
- Present design concepts to clients, either individually or in collaboration with Sales.
- Accurately generate Bill of Materials, drawing specifications, pallet layouts, and die lines.
- Manage tight deadlines and work outside regular hours to meet client needs.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Bachelor's Degree or heavy college coursework in a technical field is a plus.
- Experience in CAD systems, and/or Adobe graphic software a plus.
Mathematical and Technical Skills:
- Ability to read measurements with speed and accuracy.
- Skilled in performing calculations for figures such as percentages, measurements, volume, and rates.
- Knowledge of product layouts, quality specifications, and production standards.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and communicate.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to work in environments with noise, mechanical parts, humidity, and other physical demands.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet conditions, and vibration.
- Occasional exposure to heights, fumes, and airborne particles.
- The noise level is usually loud, and lifting of materials may be required.
